Help with Nested formula

HI there,
I would like some help please to create a formula that does the following:
If a value exists in A1 Then make B1=A1. If no value in A1 make B1 = C1

Any help greatly appreciated

Pretty simply IF to put in cell B1:

=IF(A1<>"",A1,C1)
