Hi,

I would like to know how I can solve the following issue.

I have a web query on a sheet named "cm"

I am using the basic formula below to copy the contents of the cell to another sheet.

Code:
=cm!$A$11

I am experiencing a problem. When the sheet "cm" updates it may or may not have any data in the cell but what I am finding is the formula above is not staying fixed on the cell and will change automatically when the data is refreshed.

Appreciate the help,
suprsnipes

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Thanks for the suggestion I tried that but when the refresh query updates the cell reference is lost it simply displays #REF!
