Hello, Is it possible for diffrent work books to talk to each other? I run a large car dealership and I keep running daily stats from different departments - in different work books. It would be awesome if I could generate a master book that tallied all the departments...
If someone could help it would be appreciated...

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
That depends on what you mean "talk to eachother"

Files can be linked to other files by selecting a cell in one file (empty cell) and hitting the "=" key for a formula and then just going to the other sheet and selecting which cell you want the value for...

When you click the cell and hit enter, the value from the other workbook is in the first.
