I have a column for items in A1 and their cost in B1 in Sheet 1 and they are randomly distributed. Now I need to copy all the costs for the subsequent products into sheet 2 automatically in C1 cell accordingly.

How about
Excel Formula:
=XLOOKUP(B2,Sheet1!A2:A100,Sheet1!B2:B100,"")

Solution
I just want to match the cost in sheet 2(C3) to its associated event from sheet1. Like eg: in sheet 2, cell - A8: Employee - Rani - event type: Hep B - C8 to be filled as £45.00 and similarly for Biog - C4: £44.00
