Hide and Unhide sheets

Good afternoon all,

I am putting together a workbook with main sheet and about 50 employee sheets with a basic hide sheet1 show sheet2 etc on sheet1 then on sheet 2 to 50 the same hide that sheet and show sheet1.

Can I put that code anywhere generically or do I have to do a sheet hide in a worksheet code window for every sheet?

I think I may have thought of the answer, if i use activesheet.hide rather than sheet2 sheet3 etc then I could use one macro....I'll give it a go
