Hide Blank Cells in Cluster Column Chart

I am creating a cluster column chart for a set of data that will be updated throughout the year. I was able to get a chart to generate, but the blank cells were included. I then converted the data to a chart that changed the blank cells to return an error, but they still show up on the chart. Is there any way to completely remove these cells from the chart until they have data entered in them?
