Hi Guys,

Is it possible to hide columns using a loopp to check the value of a cell in a row?

I want to check thru from A2 - AK2 and if the value = "Y" then hide the column. If not "Y" then leave it alone.
I'd also like to unhide them again and attach the macros to a couple of buttons.

Regards,
Pat

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Code:
    For Each c In Range("a2:ak2")
        If c.Value = "y" Then Columns(c.Column).Hidden = True
    Next c

just set hidden = false to show the columns.

methods for attaching to macros will vary depending on what version of excel you are using.
