Having more trouble with this than I should be having.
Found a lot of topics leading to here: Content Controls – Don't Print Placeholder Text

Didn't work for me. Would it need updated?

I placed a Rich Text Content Control on a form in Word 2019. The placeholder is "Name".

Normally the user would click "Name" and enter their name.

I'm trying to find a script that will hide the placeholder if nothing is entered. The script should hide "Name".

When I do print, it prints out like this:

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Disregard. I thought it would just auto target the placeholders. I just didn't set them to hidden.
