Hiding A Pivot Table

Hello,

I'm using Excel 2007 and have 2 questions.
1. I've created a pivot table and I want to have a chart. Is there a way i can have the table hidden and still show the chart?

2. If i have a table created and it has 6 columns and i want to chart only 1 column, am i able to change this in the chart or will i need to create a new table with just that 1 series of data?
