Hello Everyone,

Is there a way to have an active formula which does not show the formula. I want to provide a workbook to another person, but do not want them to see how I arrived at the formula.

I know how to protect the formula but it could still be wrote down and copied.

THANKS!!!!

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Select the cell(s) with the formula and choose Format Cells. On the Protection tab check Locked and Hidden and click OK. Then protect the worksheet.
