I would like to hide the ribbon so the screen gets larger by using the MS button and selecting Option. The problem is that it hides on all MS excel files new and old. Is there a vba code or macro I can use for that?

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Thanks for the respond. The code did not work. I am using excel 2007 on window 7. I inserted a module and paste your code, saved the file and closed it. re-opened it but nothing happened.

Dave's code has to go in the ThisWorkbook module. Press ALT + F11, in the Project window double click ThisWorkbook then paste in the code.

Thank you both, I am very greatful for people like you donating your time and knowlege with others. When I used the code it actually worked, but it took away all of the ribbon. Is there a way that the Quick Access toolbar and the Office button on top left corner to be visible. And again only for a single workbook? When I use Ctl F1, it actually works for me, but it does it on all workbooks. Thanks again for freely sharing your knowlege.
