how can I highlight row and column on click and after click other cell previous selection returns to its previous state.
. I don't want to clear pre colored cells. let's say I have some range filled with red color. i would like to highlight any cells with click. whenever I click any other cell last activated/ selected cell returns to its previous state. and don't remove pre colored cells

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
