Hi All, I am trying to highlight duplicate entries in column D of Sheet 1 and column D of sheet 2. So far I have tried entering different formulas into the conditional formating rules but it doesn't seem to be working (countif, match). When I used the match function it did actually highlight some of the same entries but it also counted non-duplicates as well. I think part of the problem is the entries are a letter/number combo like ABC123 and XYZ456. Thanks for your help.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
You can use the Conditional Formatting option.

Conditional Formatting>Highlight Cell Rules>Duplicate Values...

Select that option, then go back into 'Manage Rules' and set the range you want checked
