Hi,
Can anyone help me with some VBA to highlight duplicates within a column. If a cell has a duplicate then I would like it and all its brothers to be highlighted. I have achieved this using a for.. next loop but as I have thousands of records it is inelegant (and slow) I would like to use the FIND method.

Many thanks

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
This will filter your data. JSW

Sub DoIt()
Range("A1", Range("A65536").End(xlUp)).AdvancedFilter _
Action:=xlFilterInPlace, Unique:=True

Range("A1", Range("B65536").End(xlUp)).SpecialCells _
(xlCellTypeVisible).Copy Destination:=Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")

ActiveSheet.ShowAllData
End Sub

Another way is by using Conditional Formatting if you want to just do a few columns.

select formula is and then type
=COUNTIF(G:G,G11)>1

and then however you want to highlight the dupes.
