What I am needing seems quite complex to me. I would greatly appreciate with this one.

I need a formula (probably an array) that will list horizontally from left to right starting with cell H2, and continuing listing as needed. (continues to I2, J2, K2, ETC. as needed.)

Using the value in E2 of the “UNIQUE MODELS” worksheet, search column D of the “EQUIPMENT LIST” worksheet. When the value is found, map back to H2 the value in column B of “EQUIPMENT LIST”.

Note, the value in column B may be found in multiple rows, so only map back unique values from column B, starting in H2 and continuing across until no more unique values are found.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Can you post some sample data along with expected results.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

Did you unblock the file?

Yes. Then I looked at it again just to be sure and the option to block or unblock no longer exists. Wierd.

I guess I will no need XL2BB any longer as I was able to figure out the formula. But I still think I will work with getting XL2BB to work.
