how can i link values of cells to other worksheets?

Hello Mr. Excel,

I am having a hard time trying to "link" values (not cells) with other worksheets. For example, i have a workbook containing 20 worksheets. Each worksheet has items that we sell along with the sell price. There are a few items that are exactly alike on each worksheet. Rather than having to update each sheet with an updated cost, is there a way for me to update the cost on all worksheets containing this item or matching to the description of that item all in one shot? Not all the cells are in same spot within the worksheet so grouping will not work for me. Please help me. Thanks. Jeslo

Why not have an additional sheet that contains all the products and associated costs...then link the other 20 worksheets to appropriate cost?
