How do I calculate week number?

I know how to calculate it creatig a formula (date minus first day of the year divided by seven)

Is there another easy way to do that?

You could use the WEEKNUM function that is available through the Analysis Toolpak. You must make sure that the Analysis Toolpak is enabled by going to Tools|Add-ins.
