How Do I change format within formula?

I have a spreadsheet where I am using =index to look up on a different tab.

The formula reads ="2003 SALES: $"&INDEX(Sheet1!"$Z$79,Sheet1!A1,1)
the result is: 2003 SALES: $12452064.16. I want the cell to read:
2003 SALES $12,452,064.

How can I change the format to take away the decimal places and put commas? The page it is pulling from is formatted like that and it doesnt do anything to change the Format/Cell way.

Any suggestions?

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Try:

="2003 SALES: $"&TEXT(INDEX(Sheet1!$Z$79,Sheet1!A1,1),"###,###.##")
