How do I find out if the last 4 numbers in cell A1 appear in the whole range of C2?

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hello, and welcome to the board!
I think I can help answer your question, but I'm not 100% clear on what you're asking. I can interpret it a couple of ways:
1. There's a long list of jpg file names all in cell A1 (or C1, depending if I read the title or the text of the question), and a long list of file names in cell C2, and you want to see if the last four file names in C1 are found in C2.
2. There is a list of jpg file names in column A, and another list of file names in column C, one file name in each cell, and you want to find out if the last 4 digits of the file name (before the .jpg) in each cell in column A are found in any cell in column C.
3. Maybe some interpretation I didn't think of?

If I know what you're asking, I can probably help.
