How do I find the sheet a range belongs to

I have a function that accepts two ranges and I need to be able to tell if they came from the same worksheet or not. I'm sure there is an easy way to do this but I have not had any luck figuring it out on my own. Thanks in advance for any help.

Nevermind. I figured it out.

if(rng1.worksheet.name = rng2.worksheet.name)then
    ...
end if

try range.parent

This gives me an "Object does not support this property" error

use rng.Parent.Name it returns the name of the sheet as a string

Yeah that worked as well as rng.Worksheet.Name
