how do I move certain pieces of data from a column into another column

using xecel 2008 for mac
I want to take this
Bassett Dalton 9 Brown
Bassett Dalton 9 Green
Bassett Dalton 9 White
Bausch Charlotte 8 Brown
Bausch Charlotte 8 White
Bausch Theodore 10 Brown
Bausch Theodore 10 White

and turn it into this

Bassett Dalton 9 Brown Green White
Bausch Charlotte 8 Brown . . White
Bausch Theodore 10 Brown . . White

If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hello and welcome to The Board.
I am using Office 2010 and Windows 7, so cannot help where there will be Excel differences between the systems/versions.

That had data in two columns and I am not sure whether your example was showing one column or four columns. If you can get your data into two columns then the given formulas and method may work for you.

Then you first need to convert it to two columns by concatenating the first three columns.
For example:
=A2 & " " & B2 & " " & C2
