How do I use a button/checkbox to give a cell two interchangeable values?

Brand new to the forum and am in the middle of building a spread sheet to manage my class's progress (I'm a teacher).

Our assessment levels are changing and for each different 'level' a child receives they also receive a 'point score' for example if a child is a level 5c say, that is the equivalent of 31 points.

What can I do to my workbook so at the push of a button, tick of a box or alike the data shifts between point scores and levels?

Im sure this is basics but I am really struggling to find a solution!
Any help greatly received.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
I assume this is in the correct place? Thought this might be a simple fix but from the lack of replies I fear it might not be. Help!
