How do to convert minutes to nearest hour

I not able to come close to resolve this problem. How do you do convert 30minutes to numeric 0.5 ( to add up for total)


I'm using "=TEXT(D19-C19,"h:M")"

Raw Input: 10.00 AM 4.30PM
Desire Output: 6.5 hours

Try this...

• A1 = 10:00 AM
• B1 = 4:30 PM

=(B1-A1)*24

Format as General or Number

Result = 6.5

Try this...

=MOD(B1-A1,1)*24

Format as General or Number
