How do you shade the tab's (sheet's) name?

right click the sheet tab and you can see the fillcolor ( I think it is available for excel version after 2000 ).

I use Excel 2003 and there is no option fill color.. :oops: Could it be that it is only available for older versions?

hhhmmm. I think that was xp or 2002.

for 2003, Format > Sheet > Tab Color.

The tab color only underlines the sheetname.

The one I am seeing is that the entire sheetname is shaded with background color.

ah. not sure about that. but if you have time searching on the internet regarding the tab color in excel you can found a few thread regarding this and format > sheet > tab color work for 2003.
