How to apply MIN function

Suppose A1 comtains amount 30000 & in B1 the function should be applied that if the amount is more than 20000, the B1 should be 20000 otherwise A1. How to apply MIN function.

Try:

=MIN(20000,A1)

may need to use if function as min returns 20,000 for blank cells

=IF(A1>20000,20000,A1)

Try:

=MIN(20000,A1)

It is not working but after trying I found
=IF(A1=0,"",MIN(20000,A1)) working.
