How to bring a row and "rotate" to a column

Say I have the following:

A B C D E F G H
(each in separate cells - in a row)

How could I "rotate" into column form

A
B
C
D
E
F
G
H

Is there a simple function which inverts?

Okay, let's say your values are in A1:H1

Highlight the values >> copy

Place your cursor in A2 >> right click >> Paste Special >> Transpose

You can also use the TRANSPOSE function.

Also, use INDEX function,

Let's say, you have data in row 1,

A3, copy down...

=INDEX($1:$1,ROWS(A$3:A3))
