How to calculate the Sum of the Difference of two Ranges?

Hi,

How to calculate the Sum of the Difference of two Ranges with NAs?

for example I have two ranges (2,4,6) and (1,2,NA)

I want to get (2-1)+(4-2)+NA_which_is_0=3

How to use formula to do that?

Actualy 1+2+NA = NA

The formula SUM(A1:C1)-SUM(A2:C2) should do what you want.
If you want it to treat NA as 0 the CSE formulas

=SUM(IFERROR(A1:C1,0)-IFERROR(A2:C2,0))
and
=SUM(IFERROR(A1:C1-A2:C2,0))
handle errors slightly differently.

Both need to be entered with Ctrl-Shift-Enter (Cmd+Return for Mac)
