Hi friends,

I have a VBA code which uses a Select-Case structure.

Let's say I have the following cases:

case is = "apples"
case is = "oranges"

Now, I have expanded the model so now I have cases such as "apples1", "apples 1", "apples are healthy", "the apples" etc. all permutations containing "apples" at some point in the sentence.

How can I include all of them under case is = "apples" without having to specify them one by one ?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Here is one way to structure it:
VBA Code:
    Dim cell as Range

    For each cell in Range(...)
        Select Case True
            Case cell.Value Like "apples*"
                 ...
