How to clear data in cell using a formula

How do I clear data in a cell if use vlookup to find a match?

I want to lookup a list of data on a sheet and once found. I want to
update it by clearing the first duplicate.


abcdef
abcdef
jklmno


vlookup: abcdef

then found the first on in the range
then clear it.

can someone help?
