I need to form a single formula from the below 2:

=IF(INDIRECT("'Budget "&TEXT(S4,"dd mmm yy")&".csv'!$G$10")>=INDIRECT("'Budget "&TEXT(S4,"dd mmm yy")&".csv'!$M$10"),"ALERT!", "")

=VLOOKUP("Client name",D:G,4, FALSE)

Instead of using a specific cell reference ($G$10 / $M$10), i prefer to use a more dynamic reference like the vlookup formula

Thanks!

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Try perhaps:

=IF(INDIRECT("'Budget "&TEXT(S4,"dd mmm yy")&".csv'!G"&INDEX(G:G,MATCH("Client name",D:D,0)))>=INDIRECT("'Budget "&TEXT(S4,"dd mmm yy")&".csv'!M"&INDEX(M:M,MATCH("Client name",D:D,0))),"ALERT!", "")
