Hello

I have some Profit and Loss accounts...some are for 12 months and some are for 18 months....

Mar '00 - 12 mths
Mar '01 - 12 mths
Sep '02 - 18 mths
Sep '03 - 12 mths
Sep '04 - 12 mths
Sep '05 - 12 mths
Sep '06 - 12 mths
Sep '07 - 12 mths
Mar '09 - 18 mths
Mar '10 - 12 mths

How do I standardise(annualise??) them for the sake of comparison?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
By doing that I can for instance get data for the year ending March 2002...

But then how do I get the figures for March 2003 coz the figures provided to me are of September 2002( 18 months data from march 2001) and September 2003 ( 12 months data from September 2002)

You ask for more accurate figures.

No amount of fiddling the figures will get you an accurate value for comparison.
