What is the formula to convert Date format

Mar-28-02 to 03/28/2002 ?

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

Activate the cell of Mar-28-02 and look at the Formula Bar. Report back what you see.

Would think all that is needed is select the cell, right click-"Format Cells"
Click on Number tab
Select Date, in Category
From the Type list, select the format desired
OR
Select Custom, in Category
Create a formatting code to your liking
Probably: mm/dd/yyyy

One more. It appears that the entry is text. Would you check it by

=ISNUMBER(the-cell-of-Mar-28-02) ?

No need for the above.

(1.) Select all the cells with entries that you want to convert.
(2.) Activate Date|Text to Columns.
(3.) Choose Delimited.
(4.) Click Next until you are in step 3 of Wizard.
(5.) Check Date for Column Data Format.
(6.) Click Finish.
