I want to replicate a Pivot and Chart to another tab so I can change pivot fields but keep the chart format and properties. I also want to ensure I do not cache the memory so I am not confusing the data or filters from the original pivot.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Thanks Steve=T,

This is usually a good way to copy from one Tab to another, however when I did this with Excel Pivot Tables, I received unusual results, the first tab's pivot table and filters still updated the table and chart on the second tab, I am looking for a way to disconnect these two... Thanks

Sorry, you are correct. I was unable to change the underlying pivot table for the copied pivot chart. even when selecting Select Data, the chart data is greyed out.

I couldn't find a work around.

Re: How to Copy Pivot and Chart - Can't be done

I am somewhat glad this post has remained unsolved, while I would have liked a solution, I am also glad my post was not trivial.
