how to create a custom YEAR format in Excel

There is a task: numbers are given that are equal to the time of work in the company, you need to add the word years to these numbers using a custom format so that these numbers and the inscription years are displayed

I tried adding the following formulas: 0 "year" , # "year" , year

i assume you mean customer formats and not formulas in the cell
that should work
# "year"
or to display a 0
#0 "Year"

can you post a sample
you can see the image i posted

[=1]0" year";0" years"
will show 0 years , and 1 will show year
