How to delete "#" in range B1:B24, make its format like F1:F5?

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Ctrl+F (Find), put # in the Find box, nothing in the Replace box, press Replace All.

You may try :
Select column B, then press Ctrl+F, find # and replace with blank

another simple way is :
in cell F1, type : =left(B1,4)

I do not know how to do it with vba.
