How to execute a text string

Hello all,
I have this formula in excel.

=OFFSET('Sheet1'!$I$293,$A1,D$1)

What I would to do is to make the "293" in the formula a variable i.e the "293" is refered from another cell in another sheet and then I would this to be excuted.

Try INDIRECT:

=OFFSET(INDIRECT("'Sheet1'!$I$" & B1),$A1,D$1)

for instance.
