I have a list of the recurring meetings my 2 bosses attend. The list is filtered by their names in colunm A; so I can click on the down arrow by "data" and choose to see all meetings attended by "Donna" or by "Michelle" or by "All"

I would like to also be able to filter by the meeting rooms which is in column F, but I can't quite figure out how to do it. If I click on advanced filter, it shows the range for the names regardless of where I'm clicked in the sheet. I've tried "help" but it isn't helping :) (It's me, not it!)

Can you tell me how to do this? (type slowly, lol)

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
click on the cell above the 1 and to the left of the a, that will highlight the entire sheet. then go to data, filter, autofilter.

this you can filter by the values in each column.
