Hello everyone,

I need help finding a formula that would allow me to Find the Most Frequently Occurring Text in Excel, excluding empty cells.
I found this one, but it does count empty cell as well
=INDEX(B2:G2,MODE(MATCH(B2:G2,B2:G2,0)))

Hi & welcome to MrExcel.

What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Depending on your version this may need to be array entered.
Excel Formula:
=INDEX(B2:G2,MODE(IF(B2:G2="","",MATCH(B2:G2,B2:G2,0))))
