how to fire a change event

I need a piece of code that turns everything I type into range C4:C12 of my worksheet into a hyperlink.

Type a word or number, press enter - and it's entered into your cell (provided it's in range C4:C12) as a hyperlink.

I've got some code from the macro recorder but don't understand how to fire it when a change in C4:C12 happens. I just want the code to run when I type an update to this range.
