Tried numerous search but couldn't find the answer...

The labels on the x axis of a chart say 1 2 3 4. Is there a way to bold just one of the entries on the x axis label? I tried bolding the cell but it didn't carry forward to the chart. Seems like it would be simple to do.

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't think it is simple to do.

What I would do is create a stand alone text box which contains the relevant digit in whichever format you want, and position it over the chart.

The problem with this is that it won't be dynamic - if the numbers and therefore the scale change, then the text box won't change automatically.
