Hello

I created a new function. What can i do to have it a part of my Excel function available list. Meaning, be available for all new sheet or file I may open

Martin

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
If on your PC, then add the Module sheet or Function to the Personal Workbook then you can use it from the User Defined List from the Insert Function.

You might have to unhide the Personal Workbook.

Hello Vog

This is what I want to do.
I did read the document but..... I'm loss

I don't understand how to create the new Personal.XLS project
I will read it back later, I just don't get it.
Sometime, My English translator is not accurate and mislead me.... hehe!

Many thanks

Simple option to try, record a new macro in a blank workbook and in the Store In select Personal Workbook, if it is hidden you will get a message, if not then it s fine to save your Function to the Personal Workbook.

To unhide the workbook either select View Unhide and the Personal Workbook will be shown in the List.

If you now have the Personal Workbook available to you then Open the workbook where you created your Function, then move into VBA (Alt + F11) on the left where it shows you the projects, you should see your workbook name and the Personal Workbook, then all you need to do is drag the module into the workbook name of the Personal workbook that will create a copy of the module sheet.

Save your workbook and close it, then open a new workbook and test that you can use your Function.
