I want to hide a few columns in my worksheet but I don’t want others to know I hide the columns. People would notice that the columns been hided simply by looking at the columns letter as those hide columns their header letter skipped. </SPAN>
It's not possible, strictly speaking, to hide rows and columns discretely. It is your spreadsheet, however, so I'd suggest you consider moving the data you want hidden to another place on the sheet, another sheet all together, or a completely different workbook and just reference it in the formulas of any affected totals/calculations. Data sources can be obfuscated and hidden in a number of ways, depending on the sophistication of your audience...
As has been said, its not really possible to hide without someone noticing or altering the spreadsheet so it looks different
You could try the below that hides the column then the headings, but your users might want the headings for reference
Code:
Sub hidec()
Sheet1.Unprotect Password:="aa"
Sheet1.Range("G:G,Q:Q,Y:Y").EntireColumn.Hidden = True
ActiveWindow.DisplayHeadings = False
Sheet1.Protect Password:="aa"
End Sub
