I have a salary table with the names and salary of all staff - in a pivot table.

When I print this table, I want to hide couple of staff names in the table, but want their salary amounts to be included in the department total.

Is there a way to acheive this:

Eg:
Dept Staff Name Salary
Sales Mr. A 50,000
Mr. P 35,000
Mr. C 45,000
Mr. S 40,000
Sales Total 170,000

I want to show the department and partial staff list and hide Mr. P & S, but want to include their pay in the total.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
