I have comma delimited data from a Acceess database with city state and country for world wide people about 1000. I was wondering what would be the best method to product a quick world map with just a marker showing the location. Is this not a job for excel?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
They removed the Map addin from Excel (probably because they wanted to devote an entire application to map making instead). I suspect that MS Mappoint 2002 is the correct tool for this but I haven't played with it yet. Check out www.microsoft.com/office/mappoint for details. It has an object model and once installed, it's interface is available to anything that supports the office object model. I'm still looking into this...
