How to insert a break which would account for empty rows?

I am not talking about a page break for printing. What I'd like to do is have data at row 1000, with a dynamic table at row 1 that may only contain 5 or 6 rows or 100s of rows. A break would allow the data at row 1000 to always be visual and the table is scrollable when not filtered.

Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
if i understand correctly you need row 1000 to always be visible on screen? Have you considered putting the data that is currently on that row into row 1 instead? Then its a simple freeze panes.

I don't believe its possible to freeze a single row like that, and i would worry that a dynamic table could overwrite whatever data/formula is in that row.
