Hi All,

Im trying to install a WebBrowser control into a chart.
I can put it on a worksheet no worries, but for a finished presentation look, i'd like to include it on a full page chart i already have.
You can 'draw' on top of charts and even insert command buttons on top of them, so theoretically you think you should be able to insert a WebBrowser.

Any solutions?

And if not, does anyone know of a way to set a regular sheet up the same as a chart? In other words, so that the space is limited to an A4 landscaped sheet, without cells showing or anything. I've tried setting the scroll limit, but when you view the sheet full page, you can still see the excess cells.

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
You can't put activex controls on charts, I'm afraid.
You'd need to hide the rows and columns on the sheet that you don't want visible.
Out of interest why does your chart need a webbrowser?

I've got a small WebBrowser that points to lunar phase site, so that you can see the current lunar phase at a glance.
Any suggestions on tidying up a sheet then to look the same as a chart?

Im trying for the same look as if you inserted a chart into your worksheet.
Basically using the ApplicationOnTime and ApplicationWait commands in my vba script to emulate a slide show. On each sheet are multiple graphs. So far to make things look tidy i've inserted a chart, minimised the original chart to say the bottom right, and then inserted other charts on to the sheet.

You know how with a chart as a sheet its all spread out nicely to fill an entire landscaped page, you can see the edges of it if you zoom out to 100%, and viewing it fullscreen doesn't show any excess.

By hiding the grid lines and cells, and limiting the scroll capabilities, you can make it look nice on your screen, but if you run it on a different monitor that has a different aspect ratio it stuffs up.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to put all the charts on a separate sheet, then use the Camera tool to put a snapshot of one chart onto your presentation sheet, and use code to change the range the camera looks at rather than moving charts about. You can then put the webbrowser control under (or alongside) the snapshot, hide all superfluous rows and columns and column headers etc. That's about as close as I can think of.

Good suggestion, but the charts are run on an ApplicationOnTime schedule to provide 'live' data. Can't be using snapshots. Will just have to do without the WebBrowser, or continue searching the net for a website with the lunar details in a separate frame and use a Web Query to pull it over instead (doing that for the weather already).

The charts would be live just as they are, the only thing that would differ is that the camera tool simply displays a different one each time you tell it to.
