How to insert checkmark in excel?

Hi,
I need to include checkmark in title of a cell. How can you do it?

well if u are familiar with windows character map u can find one there.... just set the cells font type to symbol and paste it over from the char map...

you could also use auto shapes

Character 252 with a font of Wingdings will give you a checkmark.

To enter in a cell:
Press and hold the Alt key
On the ten-key pad, type: 0252
Press Enter
Change font to Wingdings (1)

Here's another way...
If the checkmark is to be the only thing in that cell:
Format the cell font to "Marlett" and enter a lower case a.

If there's to be more than just the checkmark in the same cell, enter whatever you want in whatever font you want, using a lower case a where you want the checkmark. Then (in the formula bar) highlight the lower case a and change the font on just that character to Marlett.
