Hi---I have color scale conditional formatting on my sheet, but when I collapse or expand the data in my pivot table, the formatting changes. What can I do so the conditional formatting color scales I am using, stick and don't change when I collapse/expand?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
From my perspective and understanding, which by no means is 100% certain, conditional formatting is based on cell references.
Pivot tables can change the relative location of cells if the format is based on a formula, if not completely removing when the pivot is refreshed.

But, what I'm curious about, is why not just design your pivot table to provide the records that would be selected for conditional formatting?
