Hi all,

I have a worksheet_1 contains a table and some other contents. And there is a worksheet_2 contains a similar table but with less columns. And I want to transfer some data in worksheet_1 to worksheet_2. And I want to keep the format of the data in worksheet_2 as worksheet_1.

For example, if worksheet_1 has content like this: "I will be tranfered to worksheet_2", this whole sentence will be transfered to a specific cell in worksheet_2 including the underscore below the content.
For another instance, if I have a table, I want to transfer the whole table to worksheet_2 including the border of the table.

Is it possible for me to achieve this?

Thank you in advance!

Yours sincerely,
lolo

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

Hi lolo,

What do you mean when you write that you are transferring some data? Are you using a manual copy and paste or a VBA macro?

Are your tables actual Excel "Table" objects or just data ranges?

Hi JS411,

Thank you so much for your reply.
I am using VBA in order to tranfer data automatically.
The table in workbook1 is actually real table, the table in workbook2 is actually data ranges with borders.

Best regards,
lolo^^

Have you tried using the macro recorder? That is a good way to get started, you can then fine tune the macro to make it more general purpose.

If you get stuck, let me know what you tried and what result you got.
