How to Learn Power Query M Language coding for beginners?

Dear All,

I am planning to learn Power Query M Langauge coding. I am absolute beginner.

I have chekcked courses online but almost all of them are teaching Power Query interface and litlle bit manipluation to the formulas but no structured way to teach coding.

Can any one suggest the best way to learn in systematic way from absolute beginner to atleast intermediate levels Power Query M language coding.

I would appreciate your suggestion.

Starting with the UI imo is the way to go for a couple of reasons:

1. What the UI offers is 80% of the work done
2. Learning frequent and useful patterns
3. Link an action with the generated code in the formula bar

Check out Mike Girvin's YouTube channel excel is Fun. He has some amazing free tutorials that walk you through M-language and how to code it.
